Chat

Also referred to as SFIM (SFI Instant Messaging), the chat option is always available for you to communicate with your downline affiliates, as well as with your sponsor and others in your upline. When you click the bubble quick-access button to open your chat, you'll see the following popup, as shown in the image below:

SFI Inbox

Your SFI Inbox is where you go to pick up and manage notices, newsletters, and other messages sent to you from the SFI Corporate office, your sponsor, other upline team leaders, your PSAs, etc. Click the envelope quick-access button icon located at the top to access your SFI Inbox. NOTE: You can also access the inbox via your new messages alert on your SFI Alerts tab.

Once at your SFI Inbox, you'll see that it's organized into various folders, designed to make it easy for you to manage your messages:

INBOX: All your incoming messages will appear in this folder.

SFI TEAMBUILDING: This folder contains various notices you get about recruiting/building topics, such as new PSA notices, new POA notices, and so on.

TEAM EMAIL: Here, you'll find messages from your upline, sent using the PSA Mailer, CSA Mailer, Genealogy Group Mailer, etc.

SFI MISC: SFI-related messages that don't fit within any of the other folder categories.

ASTRO AUCTIONS, PRICEBENDERS, EAGER ZEBRA, AND TRIPLECLICKS: Messages in these folders relate to their specific programs. For example, notices about your auction wins appear in the Astro Auctions folder; receipts from your TripleClicks purchases appear in your TripleClicks folder, and so on.

Member Referral Aids, Methods, & More

As discussed in detail in the LaunchPad Lesson: SFI Promotional Aids, Methods, & Gateways, SFI affiliates looking to create a successful online business can find a variety of marketing aids and methods at the SFI Marketing Center. No matter your experience level, you can use these resources to attract new Personally Referred Members (PRMs) and grow your business.

Member Referral Aids

The Marketing Center contains a multitude of online and printable market-ready advertisements, and most are completely free for you to use. Of course, you're never under any obligation to use these Marketing Aids, but we do require pre-approval for any ZING property advertising you create and wish to use yourself (learn more).

1. To view approved member referral marketing aids for any ZING Network program, click MARKETING from the main navigation bar at the Affiliate Center and choose MARKETING AIDS.

2. In the MARKETING AIDS tab, you'll see several menus on the left side of the page. Make selections within these menus to narrow your results and find precisely the marketing aids—banners, text ads, memes, flyers, ecards, etc.—you're looking for (see image to the left).

For example, to find a banner promoting the Astro Auction program, just click Astro Auctions under PROGRAM, then Banner from the TYPE dropdown menu. If you wish, you can refine your results even further by selecting the shape, color, size, language, and more from the other dropdown menus.

3. Now, click the PREVIEW link for the marketing aid you want to use to open up that ad's preview panel (see image below).

Within the preview panel, you'll see instructions for inserting the ad into your blog or webpage. For banners and other image-based ads, be sure NOT to save or copy the image! Instead, cut and paste the code displayed (as illustrated in the image above) for use. This code contains your SFI ID and will properly track clicks and new member sign-ups from your ad.

Lastly, to make it easier to find ads you like, click the heart icon on a marketing aid's preview panel. To retrieve it, just click the green My Favorites button.

Member Referral Methods

Once you've selected your favorite marketing aid(s), it's time to check out effective methods to get results. The Marketing Center contains several methods for everyone to use—from beginners to experts–to attract new Personally Referred Members (PRMs).

1. To view Member Referral Methods, click MARKETING from the main navigation bar at the Affiliate Center and choose MARKETING METHODS.

2. In the MARKETING METHODS tab, you'll see options on the left side of the page you can use to find specific marketing methods.

3. To find marketing methods to promote a given ZING Network program (i.e., Astro Auctions, Eager Zebra, TripleClicks, etc.) and attract new PRMs, just make your selection under PROGRAM. You can refine your methods further by selecting a DIFFICULTY setting (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert), Cost versus Free methods, etc. (see image below)

SFI Toolbox

Promoting a product you're excited about or use regularly can be very effective; customers naturally sense your enthusiasm and belief in what you're offering them and are more likely to try it themselves. To promote a specific item, begin by logging into TripleClicks and checking out the store's SFI Toolbox feature on the details page for that product.

Once you've accessed the SFI Toolbox popup, you'll notice it contains a treasure trove of affiliate-related information. In the image to the right, for example, you can see the SFI Toolbox (for the 100 TCredits pack) provides a breakdown of the commissions available to you when one of your PRMs purchases it. There's also a ready-made link (which includes your SFI ID) you can share with prospective customers or post in ads. Another promotion link lets you direct visitors to the item's department, where they can view all related products for purchase.  What's more, you can also access links within the SFI Toolbox to create a banner for this product, create a printable flyer, etc.

Member Referral Gateway Sites

Of course, your customized Gateway Sites are some of your most powerful free marketing aids you can use to attract potential members and encourage them to sign up. We've designed several sites for you to choose from. You can use as many as you like in your marketing efforts, but they're ALL designed to do the heavy lifting for you of enticing your prospective PRMs to give us a try!

For example, you can use your Astro Gateway (pictured right) to introduce prospective customers (PRMs) to our fun and exciting Astro Auctions with an offer to try it for free! This offer is funded by a single TCredit subtracted from your credit balance, but you can choose to use this gateway without the powerful 'try it free' offer if you prefer. You can also control how many free bids (if any) you want to distribute from this gateway each day on your My Account page.

Your unique URL (encoded with your SFI ID) for the "Astro Auctions" Gateway site is:

Simply distribute this URL to your prospects via email, flyers, text ads, etc. You can also just write down or print out the URL or include it on your business cards and hand them out to friends, family, and others. You can even combine your Gateway address with a redirect URL to use in your social media posts, blogs, and websites. Personally Referred Members With SFI

 

Personally Referred Members (PRMs)

By now, you've no doubt noticed our use of the term PRM–or Personally Referred Member–throughout several previous LaunchPad Lessons. In this lesson, we'll take a moment and examine more fully what this term means. A PRM is simply someone you have referred—via one of your Member Referral Gateway sites, an Astro Auction banner ad, or a TripleClicks purchase, for example—AND who has signed up for free as a Zing Network Member. Once they join, they can access Eager Zebra, Astro Auctions, Rewardicals.com, TripleClicks, and more using a single login and password.

What are your responsibilities as a referrer? Well, once you've referred someone who has signed up as a member of our network, your job is essentially done!  We immediately begin marketing to them—on your behalf—through regular newsletters and other promotions...including exposure to the SFI Affiliate program.

We also take care of all order processing, product shipments, and customer service for your PRMs, at no cost to you!  And, of course, we'll pay you commissions...for life!...on every order placed by your PRMs.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: PRMs are NOT SFI Affiliates. Your Personally Referred Members can join the SFI Affiliate Program if they wish...but when they do, they become your Personally Sponsored Affiliate (PSA) and are no longer considered one of your PRMs.

Using gift certificates to boost your PRM sales

One great way to generate sales is to issue gift certificates to your PRMs as an incentive to try out the TripleClicks site. To issue a gift certificate to a PRM:

1. Go to your Members Report. 

2. Click the Issue a gift certificate link to purchase a gift certificate for a specific member.

3. Choose the amount and the expiration date (up to 90 days) for each gift certificate you issue.

4. When a gift certificate is redeemed by one of your recipients, you'll automatically earn a Direct Commission on the order!

HOWEVER, if a gift certificate is NOT redeemed, the funds will be automatically returned to your TripleClicks account upon expiration. Those funds will then be available for you to reissue as new gift certificates. In other words, it costs you nothing to issue a gift certificate unless the gift certificate is used by the recipient.

ONE MORE THING: You can also issue gift certificates to prospective PRMs who have not yet signed up (see image below). Just fill in the form on this page and click SUBMIT (no SPAMMING please). When a recipient redeems your gift certificate, you'll automatically gain another PRM and earn commissions on their purchase!

As an SFI Affiliate, you’re now partnered with one of the fastest-growing and most popular e-commerce sites on the Web today, TripleClicks.com. As discussed in an earlier LaunchPad Lesson, TC offers tens of thousands of products in a variety of categories from trusted sellers around the world. Visitors to TripleClicks can also easily access 24-hour Astro Auctions and Eager Zebra Games directly from the store's site. At TC, there's truly something for everyone—and that makes online selling both lucrative and fun!

But what if you're not a natural salesperson or you don’t have any experience in advertising on the Internet? No worries! We’ll teach you everything you need to know! In fact, you're already off to a good start by reviewing this LaunchPad lesson. NOTE: Be sure you read the entire LaunchPad series; they'll introduce you to lots of the other great resources available at your SFI Affiliate Center.

That said, it's really not that hard to get started marketing online right away...

A basic marketing method:

1. Start by logging into TripleClicks.com. Click the SHOP option at the top of the page, and browse the store's product listings for one you think your potential customers would like.

2. On that product's details page, click the SFI Toolbox button for a special "Promote this listing" link that includes your SFI ID number (21161398) so you’re credited with commissions earned from any sales. Just copy and paste that link in your emails, social media posts, etc. You can also click the Create Banner link for a product banner you can use on your blog or third-party websites. NOTE: You can learn more about the SFI Toolbox in this lesson.

3. Each time someone clicks your link (or banner) and signs up for free, they automatically become your Personally Referred Member (PRM). When they purchase the product—and EVERY TIME thereafter that they purchase ANY qualified product at TripleClicks—YOU earn a handsome 50% CV Direct Commission!

What's more, your work is now done! SFI takes care of processing your PRM's payment, fulfills the order, sends the product directly to your customer—all at no cost to you! And, of course, we email you each time you make a sale so you always know how much you've earned.

How To Do Overnight Success

 

Overnight success...NOT!

SFI holds tremendous potential for those who apply themselves. But that success won't happen overnight or without work. You should have big—but REALISTIC—goals if you want to build a solid, profitable business that lasts. 

As the old saying goes:

Some affiliates ask us why they're not seeing a bigger commission check yet. More times than not, the person asking hasn’t even been an affiliate for more than a few weeks! They're only really beginning to even understand how the whole SFI system works. And frankly, even if they've been an affiliate for six months, it’s still much too early to expect a significant income stream to have developed.

We always say that if you’re not willing to give a business at least a year, don’t even bother getting involved. You must understand: It takes time to get to know all the nuances of a business. It takes time to get to know the products. It takes time to develop a game plan. It takes time to figure out what marketing activities will work best for you.

There's no such thing as "get rich quick"

If becoming rich was easy and quick, EVERYBODY would be wealthy! The fact is, anything worthwhile takes sustained effort. If that were not true, we'd all be a perfect weight, have perfect relationships, and get everything we want. It's the same thing with your own business. If you think money is going to start pouring into your lap next month, you’re setting yourself up for failure.  Don't do that!

Let’s look at some real examples for perspective. We'll start with SFI's own president and founder, Gery Carson. As Gery explains: 

And here are some of the actual home business superstars we've interviewed and featured on our Website in the past:

✔ ROBERT BLACKMAN now earns as much as $85,000 per month. Yet it took Robert two years to see his first four-figure check ($1,000 or more), and it took him five years to see his first five-figure check ($10,000 or more).

✔ CHARLES LESLIE’s monthly income exceeds $12,000 a month. It took Charles five months to see his first $1,000 check, and three and a half years to see his first $10,000 check.

✔ TRACY DIETERICH earns $36,000+ monthly. But it took six months to hit that first $1,000, and a year to get to $10,000.

✔ DALE CALVERT makes so much more than $100,000 a year that he won’t even divulge the amount. Yet Dale worked four months before seeing that first four-figure commission check...and two full years before hitting five figures.

✔ DR. JOE RUBINO now cruises at over $62,000 each month. But that first $1,000 check took two months, the first $10,000 check, one year.

✔ ROBERT BUTWIN drops $80,000 or more into his bank account each month. But would you believe that first $1,000 check took two years to reach, and a full FIVE years for Robert to reach the first $10,000 check? It’s true!

✔ DAVID A. NELSON clears $40,000 in a month. But reaching that first $1,000 check took 18 months. Reaching the five-figure check took two years.

✔ TONY KENT has exceeded $90,000 in monthly earnings. But exceeding $1,000 took Tony one year...and a year and a half to exceed $10,000.

As you can see, even the most dynamic, highest-earning entrepreneurs took MONTHS to begin seeing an income of any real significance. And the real wealth—the $100,000+ income we all strive for—took an average of almost THREE YEARS to achieve!

Do you think ANY of these gentlemen think the rewards weren't worth the effort? Do you think for an instant that the months and years invested haven’t been rewarded a thousand times over at least? You don't even have to think about it, do you?

If we told you that after two to three years of following our system, you could be making more in a month than you now make in a year, could you handle that? This is a genuine and realistic goal.

But if you want to quit your job in six months and live off the income from SFI, well, that's just not realistic.

If that's not what you wanted to hear, think about this:

Can you think of any other endeavor where you could invest just five to 10 hours a week for a couple years and at the end of that time have built a full-time income? Money that keeps coming in month after month, year after year. Money that keeps coming in whether you work 10 hours a day or two. A commission check waiting for you in your mailbox when you return from yet another vacation. Money that when you’ve left this planet continues to provide for your spouse, children, or grandchildren.

Sounds extremely nice, doesn’t it? Again, you're likely not going to see this kind of income in your first year. A few real GO-GETTERS are likely to start seeing real rewards in their second year. If you're like most, however, you should set your goals with two to five years in mind. And you know what? When you get there, we guarantee you, you’ll say it was nothing!

BOTTOM LINE: We reap what we sow, but the harvest is never in the same season as the planting! Today you are planting...and will be at least for the next several months. Your harvest will come in time. Be persistent. Be patient. Work the Web using our proven SFI system. Think long term. Take action every day, (no matter how small) to build your business. 

And always remember:

THE ONLY WAY TO FAIL IS TO QUIT!
