Member Referral Aids, Methods, & More

As discussed in detail in the LaunchPad Lesson: SFI Promotional Aids, Methods, & Gateways, SFI affiliates looking to create a successful online business can find a variety of marketing aids and methods at the SFI Marketing Center. No matter your experience level, you can use these resources to attract new Personally Referred Members (PRMs) and grow your business.

Member Referral Aids

The Marketing Center contains a multitude of online and printable market-ready advertisements, and most are completely free for you to use. Of course, you're never under any obligation to use these Marketing Aids, but we do require pre-approval for any ZING property advertising you create and wish to use yourself (learn more).

1. To view approved member referral marketing aids for any ZING Network program, click MARKETING from the main navigation bar at the Affiliate Center and choose MARKETING AIDS.

2. In the MARKETING AIDS tab, you'll see several menus on the left side of the page. Make selections within these menus to narrow your results and find precisely the marketing aids—banners, text ads, memes, flyers, ecards, etc.—you're looking for (see image to the left).

For example, to find a banner promoting the Astro Auction program, just click Astro Auctions under PROGRAM, then Banner from the TYPE dropdown menu. If you wish, you can refine your results even further by selecting the shape, color, size, language, and more from the other dropdown menus.

3. Now, click the PREVIEW link for the marketing aid you want to use to open up that ad's preview panel (see image below).

Within the preview panel, you'll see instructions for inserting the ad into your blog or webpage. For banners and other image-based ads, be sure NOT to save or copy the image! Instead, cut and paste the code displayed (as illustrated in the image above) for use. This code contains your SFI ID and will properly track clicks and new member sign-ups from your ad.

Lastly, to make it easier to find ads you like, click the heart icon on a marketing aid's preview panel. To retrieve it, just click the green My Favorites button.

Member Referral Methods

Once you've selected your favorite marketing aid(s), it's time to check out effective methods to get results. The Marketing Center contains several methods for everyone to use—from beginners to experts–to attract new Personally Referred Members (PRMs).

1. To view Member Referral Methods, click MARKETING from the main navigation bar at the Affiliate Center and choose MARKETING METHODS.

2. In the MARKETING METHODS tab, you'll see options on the left side of the page you can use to find specific marketing methods.

3. To find marketing methods to promote a given ZING Network program (i.e., Astro Auctions, Eager Zebra, TripleClicks, etc.) and attract new PRMs, just make your selection under PROGRAM. You can refine your methods further by selecting a DIFFICULTY setting (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert), Cost versus Free methods, etc. (see image below)

SFI Toolbox

Promoting a product you're excited about or use regularly can be very effective; customers naturally sense your enthusiasm and belief in what you're offering them and are more likely to try it themselves. To promote a specific item, begin by logging into TripleClicks and checking out the store's SFI Toolbox feature on the details page for that product.

Once you've accessed the SFI Toolbox popup, you'll notice it contains a treasure trove of affiliate-related information. In the image to the right, for example, you can see the SFI Toolbox (for the 100 TCredits pack) provides a breakdown of the commissions available to you when one of your PRMs purchases it. There's also a ready-made link (which includes your SFI ID) you can share with prospective customers or post in ads. Another promotion link lets you direct visitors to the item's department, where they can view all related products for purchase.  What's more, you can also access links within the SFI Toolbox to create a banner for this product, create a printable flyer, etc.

Member Referral Gateway Sites

Of course, your customized Gateway Sites are some of your most powerful free marketing aids you can use to attract potential members and encourage them to sign up. We've designed several sites for you to choose from. You can use as many as you like in your marketing efforts, but they're ALL designed to do the heavy lifting for you of enticing your prospective PRMs to give us a try!

For example, you can use your Astro Gateway (pictured right) to introduce prospective customers (PRMs) to our fun and exciting Astro Auctions with an offer to try it for free! This offer is funded by a single TCredit subtracted from your credit balance, but you can choose to use this gateway without the powerful 'try it free' offer if you prefer. You can also control how many free bids (if any) you want to distribute from this gateway each day on your My Account page.

Your unique URL (encoded with your SFI ID) for the "Astro Auctions" Gateway site is:

Simply distribute this URL to your prospects via email, flyers, text ads, etc. You can also just write down or print out the URL or include it on your business cards and hand them out to friends, family, and others. You can even combine your Gateway address with a redirect URL to use in your social media posts, blogs, and websites.
