With this type of auction, you place your bid first for the product being auctioned, and just one time. Winning Astro Auctions is fun and simple. Just click the BID button on any auction and place a bid for the amount you're willing to pay for the product you want (within any product group). You can bid with TCredits or with your local currency. If you put in the highest bid, you win—often for LESS than you were willing to pay (because you'll be charged just one credit more than the second-highest bid)!   Astro Auction Tip!
  

  Try an Astro Auction on us! If you haven't yet tried Astro, check out the main index page at the top of each hour. You'll see that one of the auctions listed on the Auctions index will have a “BID FREE” button. Just click that button to enter that auction.
  
  
  NOTE: If no free bids are available, keep trying, six will be offered, first come first serve, every hour. You can also enjoy free participation in 10 Astro Auctions (and LOTS more goodies) if you purchase a LaunchPack within your first 60 days in SFI. Of course, you can always try Astro at any time for just one TCredit.

  Pricebenders Auctions

  Pricebenders (PB) auctions offer a snazzy, fun addition to our auction lineup. Currently available only to SFI Affiliates, you can access PB Auctions by clicking the PB tab on your SFI Affiliate Center homepage.

  

  PB auctions use a "reverse auction" model. Here's how it works:
  

  1. To participate in one of the new Pricebenders auctions, you must first register HERE. Basic registration costs just a single TCredit, it instantly earns you 10 Rewardicals, and takes less than 30 seconds!

  2. While registering, you can also select the price you are prepared to pay for the auction item. We call this your Trigger Price. It can be any price you want between $.99 and the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)—which is the starting price.

  3. Once an auction starts, the price of the item begins counting down (from the MSRP). The auction ends when the price hits the Trigger Price of any registered bidder. The auction can also end at any time if a bidder clicks the "Buy Now" button. The winning bidder then receives a link to purchase the item.
