Search @ TripleClicks
As you've discovered in other LaunchPad Lessons, there's a LOT going on at TripleClicks! But its powerful search feature makes it super easy to find what you're looking for.
For simple searches (i.e., for TCredit bundles, auction items, necklaces, shoes, etc.), just enter your term in the search bar at the top of the TripleClicks page. For example, let's say you're trying to find TCredits and are not sure in which department to find them. Just enter "TCredits" in the search field and select your item from the dropdown list to learn more or order:
You can also simply click the blue search icon for a list of several results, which may include applicable products, ongoing and future auction items, FAQs (if applicable) about your search item, and more. In fact, ANY question you have about TripleClicks should start at the search bar. NOTE: If you can't find the answer you're looking for from the search function, you can check out the TripleClicks Support Desk.
Advanced Filter Search
For more advanced search options, simply click the blue search icon at any time...or look in the left sidebar of your search results page. From the advanced filter search column, you can conduct several types of searches to find the exact item you're looking for, including:
- Regular product listings
- Items with a specific amount of VP, CV, or RT attached
- Products with free shipping
- On sale items
- Newly added products
Looking at the advanced filter search sidebar, you'll see that it lets you search TripleClicks.com using the following parameters:
- Search (for items, ECAs, auctions)
- Department
- Availability (in stock, auto-delivery eligible, local pickup, etc.)
- Pricing (on sale, RT, VP, CV amount, etc.
- Item (used, refurbished, TC Direct item, ECA item, etc.)
- Shipping (countries that products ship to and countries products shipping from)
So, to narrow your results for, say, only products eligible for auto-delivery with EA-qualifying 1,500 VP or more attached, make sure you're logged in to TripleClicks, then:
1. Check the "Auto Delivery" checkbox in the Availability section of the Advanced Search sidebar
2. Select the greater-than sign (>) and enter "1499" into the VP field in the Pricing section
You can also refine your search results further by sorting your results beginning with the lowest prices first, best selling items, relevance, the highest rating, or newest items.
NOTE: To clear your search filters and begin afresh search with new filters, click the Reset bottom at the bottom of the sidebar.
Or, let's say you want to locate a specific ECA with items that ship for free. Simply:
Presto! You'll see search results for all ECA products with free shipping.
Marketing With Search Results
You can also use your TripleClicks search results as a great way to introduce your potential personally referred members to the store! Let's say that you want to promote kitchen products at TripleClicks:
1. Enter your keywords (i.e., "kitchen", etc.) in the search field of the Advanced Filter Search sidebar.
2. Select the "Home & Garden" department and "Kitchen" sub-department. (To get more refined search results, you can choose other search filters–free shipping, ships to the United States, etc.).
3. At the top of your search results page, click the SFI Toolbox link.
4. In the popup window (see image to the right), you'll see a link for your search results that you can copy and paste into your marketing e-mails, online posts, etc. OR, you can preview a custom banner featuring lawn and garden images and descriptions of your special search results by clicking the Create Banner button. Scroll down for the banner HTML code you can cut and paste into your business or personal Website.
